In short, this is a socket protector for the entire line of original Intellivision consoles.

You take the Mega Console Protector (MCP) and socket it into the cartridge slot and mitigate future wear and tear on your pins.  Shipping is included.  Limited stock for this run.  When these are out they will be out for awhile.  

This has a sturdy dust cover to offer added socket protection when not in use.  You socket this into your system and it will stay in there even when you pull out your cartridges.  This is why there are variations due to subtle socket differences of each system.  

Due to name restrictions I couldn't sum up the version distinct differences so I'll do it here.  There are two versions.  One that works with the original wired intellivision (aka 2609) and it's rebrands (tandyvision, INTV III, etc) and this also works with the Sears version.  Additionally this version works with the Intellivoice.

The second version is specifically for the INTV II.. but if you're an INTV II owner and use an Intellivoice, then you need to buy the other other 2609/Sears/etc version.  

Unfortunately getting one that worked with that, meant I couldn't get the same to work with the INTV II version..  This one also will not fit in the Intellivoice, so even if you own an INTV II, if you have an intellivoice you want to get the other (or one of each!) 

The 2609 comes in black while the INTV II version comes in a bone white which matches well with the original INTV II system.
