ProRezult Activated Carbon is far superior to many other grades available. Manufactured from pure coconut shell, it contains none of the added chemicals often found in other grades of carbon. It also goes through an extensive dedusting process that ensures an exceptionally clean end product. Unlike Carbon Pellets, this type of Activated Carbon in a granular form is highly porous and efficient for organic chemical absorption in Aquariums, Koi Ponds or Drinking Water Filters. Granulated Carbon also covers a much larger surface area as the centre of a Carbon Pellet never comes into contact with the water. Overall, this makes it far more economical.
