Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the McIntosh MC250 amplifier.  This includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors (including the 2 main filter capacitors) and the C47/48 Mylar capacitors.  It includes individual capacitors to replace the two multi-section can capacitors.

This kit includes 28 parts--2 Chemi-Con main filter capacitors, 3 Nichicon capacitors, 1 Chemi-Con cap, 1 Panasonic FC cap, 2 bipolar Nichicon Muse capacitors, 2 Wima film caps, 6 Supertech axial electrolytic caps, 10 transistors, and one adapter mount to help replace the 4-section can cap.  The 2 main filter capacitors are upgraded to new Chemi-Con 10000 uf 160v 2.5" screw-terminal caps, which are drop-in replacements for the originals.  You may need to reuse the screws from the old main caps.  I know the picture shows 18000 uf caps, but those are out of stock so I have 10000 uf now.

Please note that the new main filter caps are a bit taller than the old ones, though they'll still work great.

These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear.  The capacitors are all at the same or close capacitance (uf) ratings and the same or improved voltage ratings, except the two filter caps go up substantially in capacitance, which is not an issue.  All axial caps are replaced with new axial caps except the two bipolar 10 uf caps, which are replaced with radial Nichicon Muse caps.

The MC250 is a high-end amplifier, so you should have experience doing this type of work and should have a good soldering iron and desoldering tool.  I will include very basic instructions, but this kit is intended for a professional or knowledgeable amateur.  Please see my pictures for details.
