If you've ever wanted to install a real Floyd Rose onto your 80's Jackson or Charvel, the original JT6 studs just wont cut it. The original studs are usually worn out, coarse threaded and their knife point recesses aren't really compatible with newer bridges. The stud inserts are a much larger diameter than those found on just about every other guitar, so installing new ones really isn't an option until now!

Included with the kit:

• Two Genuine Floyd Rose inserts pre-installed into custom engineered, solid bushings.
• Two Genuine Floyd Rose trem posts in Black finish. 
• Bushing Installation press tool.

SGW inserts have been engineered to be a direct replacement, with no additional modifications needed. They feature custom solid 3D printed bushing, which will never crack or break. This bushing tightly secures the insert within, then presses into the original oversized JT6 stud hole. The top flange of the bushing not only allows for easy future removal, but also gives the installation a nice finished look and hides any chip-outs that might occur from removing your old studs.

Due to the tight tolerances and interference press fit, there is absolutely no loss in sound quality or sustain!

Installation is a snap with the included bushing press tool, and takes less than 10 minutes. You MUST use a press for installation, I do not recommend EVER using a hammer to install trem studs... any type of press will do (drill press, arbor press, etc.).

These JT6 Replacement will fit:

• Any USA or Japanese Jackson or Charvel guitar originally equipped with a top mounted JT6 Tremolo with the large stud inserts.
• All 1986-1988 Charvel Model Series guitars (Model 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 88) originally equipped with the Top Mounted JT6 Tremolo.
• All 1986-up USA Jackson guitars originally equipped with the Top Mounted JT6 Tremolo
• They will not fit guitars with recessed tremolos due to their design, however most JT6 equipped guitars were not recessed.
• The studs are compatible with any Floyd Rose style bridge: Original, FRT-1000, Gotoh, Schaller, Takeuchi, etc. 

Installation is at your own risk, SGW will not be held responsible for any damage to your guitar caused by improper installation. Please do NOT use a hammer! Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced in guitar modification and/or repair. If you have any questions or need help, please stop and ask, I'm here to help!
