TCGT11020x AK H01 inserts are uncoated, with a high polish and a positive back rake which makes them perfect for effortlessly cutting aluminium with a great surface quality. These positive rake inserts will also cut great on mild steel, especially on small lathes with low rigidity that can struggle to handle high tool pressure, albeit at the expense of slightly reduced bit lifespan compared to a coated insert.
