100% cotton cushion with inner duck feather pad featuring the beautiful Sweet Briar design by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. 

Measures 17" x 17" (43 cm x 43 cm) and has a zip fastening. Design is on both sides of the cushion. 

Cushion cover and duck feather inner pad are both Made in England.

Care instructions for the cover: 100% cotton fabric, wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry.

Sweet Briar was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. in 1912 and depicts roses entwined around rambling thorny stems. Dearle worked for the firm for 54 years, becoming Art Director after the death of William Morris in 1896 and designing over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles.
