In this shop I sell and put up new items on a weekly basis. At the end of each week the item is retired never to return again. The site pays homage to Mr. ROB of long street Queenstown SA of whom I was a customer for over 50 years. Most items are valve audio related, general vintage electronics and RF, parts, bit's and pieces and sometimes a grab bag of assorted goodies.

Robbies have just unpacked the valve stock squirreled away now for more than 20 years in a container from the original valve loft at long street Queenstown. Over 3000 high grade valves are in this consignment purchased from the original Mr. Robbie while he was still alive. This is part of a deceased estate sale and uncovered in a container full of electronic and other stuff.

For sale is a single E88CC 6922 valve tube PHILIPS Holland EX Philips Hendon production test tube. Occasionally I will find a few of these production test tubes from the 20,000 valves that Graham Dicker from ROLA Australia purchased from Philips Hendon South Australia back in 1977, when they closed the valve plant and sold off all Philips and Elcoma valve stock. It has been authenticated by two now retired Philips Engineers that these were used as Bogey tubes to check production units against as a reference. All reference tubes were usually from Eindhoven stock. The orange dymo tape was used to identify valves as the screen printing usually wore off quickly by just handling the tubes. These are very rare and over 50 years or so only a small handful of these reference tubes have been found.
