In this shop I sell and put up new items on a weekly basis. At the end of each week the item is retired never to return again. The site pays homage to Mr. ROB of long street Queenstown SA of whom I was a customer for over 50 years. Most items are valve audio related, general vintage electronics and RF, parts, bit's and pieces and sometimes a grab bag of assorted goodies.

E88CC/01 6DJ8 SQ high quality low noise selected gold pins E88CC/01 valve tubes, very rare usually found in single pieces but here are available 5 from the same batch. Made in Great Britain sold per valve. 

 The E88CC/01 is fully equivalent to the 6922 but a HUGE step-up in both sound quality and build. Most of these tubes were factory screened for tight internal matching and low noise, and Philips E88CC/01 type has even more factory testing, so they are essentially CCa tubes Manufactured in very limited quantity (simply because the selection standard was too high for mass produced tubes to meet) and today they are being hunted to near extinction by audiophiles, tube enthusiasts and sound professionals. 

Robbies have just unpacked the valve stock squirreled away now for more than 20 years in a container from the original valve loft at long street Queenstown. Over 3000 high grade valves are in this consignment purchased from the original Mr. Robbie while he was still alive. This is part of a deceased estate sale and uncovered in a container full of electronic and other stuff.
