These are new, premium flight stands. Made in the USA.
Easily move your aircraft, spaceships or flying figures around your miniature game boards.
The telescoping feature permits a wide variation of altitudes to be displayed.
Flight stands extend from ~7 in ( ~18 cm) to ~27.5 in (~70 cm).
The telescoping section consists of 7 segments. These stands DO NOT contain 9 sections and thus are not compatible with Canvas Eagles.
The black bases are 1.5 in (~4 cm) in diameter.
The stands have a 2 oz (62 g) chrome plated steel counterweight at the bottom.
The stands have an alligator clip at the top to clamp onto the bottom of your miniatures. The stands also have a good counter weight on the bottom to prevent the miniatures from tipping over and a black rubber bottom base.
The stands are shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope (4 stands in a box).
Multiple packs of 4 stands will be combined into a single shipment if purchased at the same time. These stands have a good sized counterweight at the bottom and groups of them add up in weight quickly. This is really the only way to ship them economically.
They are great for aircraft and space ship miniature war games including Check your 6, Team Yankee, Flames of War, Wings of Glory, Star Wars X-Wing, smaller ships in Star Wars Armada, Star Trek Attack Wing, Aerodrome, Phantoms, Full Thrust, Battlefleet Gothic, Fleet Commander, Firestorm Armada and other air or space miniature games.
The stands will work well with space ships, helicopters and aircraft from GHQ, Raiden, Fantasy Flight Games, NavWar, Picoarmor, WizKids, 3d Printed ships from Shapeways, and other small miniatures if magnets or metal squares are attached to the underside of the aircraft.
The stands also support flying characters and monsters in Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), Warhammer 40K, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Kings of War, Warcry, and Marvel Crisis Protocol miniature games. The smallest height you can achieve for a character mounted on top of one of these stands is 5 inches.
