LogBox Wi-Fi works by sampling the inputs and providing a timestamped record of the measured values. These records can be retrieved easily using a free smartphone app or by connecting to a laptop or desktop. Connection to a local WiFi network makes data retrieval simple and fast, well suited to logging instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level), environmental/climate monitoring, data centres, laboratories, agriculture, distributed and off-grid assets, cold chain, and warehouse applications. The device also has a built-in USB port for initial programming or as a backup to the network connection.
In the event of a power loss the device can continue to record and retransmit the values once the power supply is re-established. It also includes a built-in temperature sensor for measuring ambient environment, a battery monitor, an onboard buzzer for alarm signalling, a programmable PNP output, a simple mounting bracket with detachable terminal blocks, up to 2 years of battery life if external power is lost, and MQTT/Cloud compatibility with an open broker.

LogBox Wi-Fi can be considered an IoT device with integrated data logger and WiFi connectivity. It allows monitoring and recording of data remotely, in facilities with WiFi infrastructure. The data can be accessed remotely, wirelessly and centralised through a SCADA application, cloud dashboard, or NXperience software. Easy installation and accessibility are highlights of this device.
The device has three universal analogue inputs and one digital input, which can operate as a pulse counter (flow sensor) or event recorder (opening/closing doors). LogBox Wi-Fi uses MQTT protocol to publish data into IoT brokers, cloud, or SCADA systems, as well as Modbus TCP protocol to operate as a slave in SCADA systems.
The device provides uninterrupted recording of data, even during power supply or wireless link failures, thanks to its 2-year autonomy backup battery. LogBox Wi-Fi can be uséd to help comply with security requirements of FDA Regulation Title 21 CFR Part 11.
FieldLogger and LogBox products typically have a 7-14 day lead time. If your requirement is urgent, please contact us.
