Live From Sonisphere Festival 2010 includes two songs from the 2010 festival by Anthrax. The Sonisphere 2010 tour visited eleven locations around Europe during June and August 2010. The locations were Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden and Finland. Anthrax is a thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. Only is a song originally from their 1993 album Sound of White Noise and Medusa was originally from their second album in 1985 Spreading the Disease.
