This pair of antique Chinese watercolor paintings may be from the Quing Dynasty, or the 18th or 19th century. Both paintings were stored for many years unframed. They were originally purchased in the 1960's in Guangzhou, Kwangchow, the capital city of Canton Province, China.
Each painting was created using watercolor and ink on silk and mounted on cardstock with a light beige damask border.
Each painting is signed by the artist along with chop marks that probably are the title of the painting.
