Original Dobbs Fifth Avenue New York hat box. Measures about 12" diameter and 7"high.  Normal amount of wear on the edges.  Water stain on bottom.  Inside nice and clean.  Border on the lid has split from the top in one spot and mended with tape on the inside.  Looks good.  String carrying handle.  See photos.  A very nice vintage display piece.
