This is a beautiful example of a fossil ammonite multiblock containing Arnioceras semicostatum, which has been very well prepared to show excellent detail and preservation. This was collected many years ago from Robin Hoods bay, Yorkshire, England. Jurassic, approx 198 million years old. A collectors piece !
Specimen measures approx 17.5cm x 22.5cm x 5.5cm, with the ammonites ranging between 5.1cm and 0.8cm in diameter.
