A novel of the same title written by Yoshiyuki Tomino and published in 1989, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" is a trilogy of animated films that is a direct sequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Counterattack", a film about the decisive battle between Amuro and Char. The director is Shuko Murase, who designed the characters for "New Mobile Suit Gundam W", who was the animation director for "Mobile Suit Gundam F91". The sleeve case is newly designed by character designer, pablo uchida.
