Octavo, 12, xxix, 292 pages, period full red leather leather with ornate gilt borders to both boards, small raised bands, gilt lettereing and decoration to spine. Gilt decoration to fore edges of boards. Inside gilt dentelles, all edges gilt. Illustrated throughout in black and white. Text in French. Some rubbing and wear, one plate with a closed tear, foxing and discoloration, corners bumped, else in good + condition.
