Offered for sale is an antique statue of St. Rita, patroness of abused and suffering women. Her name is embossed on the base and illuminated with gold paint. She is shown with her forehead stigmata.

The statue is made of hand-painted plaster (brush strokes visible when viewed closely) and measures approximately 20 inches tall, including the base. We estimate that the statue dates from around the 1950s.

Condition is VERY GOOD. No cracks or evident repair, but the paint is chipped in a few spots, most visibly on the side of the veil (see photos). Otherwise intact, and the base sits level.
