This is a rare and special edition box set of CDs by Vaughan Williams, celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth on October 12th, 1872. The set includes 30 CDs, featuring the composer's concertos, symphonies, choral works and fantasies, conducted by Sir Adrian Boult and other famous British conductors and performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and other British orchestras and choral groups. The CDs come in a cardboard sleeve and are in very good condition, with excellent sound quality. Each CD has on its front a painting of a seaside scene by a British artist.  The item also includes a 14-page brochure that includes a biographical essay about the composer.  This collector's edition is a must-have for classical music enthusiasts and fans of Vaughan Williams's work.
