Long term storage in Mylar bags with acid-free boards

until submission to CGC in June of 2024!!

Each of these issues was bagged and boarded since purchase and each was preserved in a thick archival Mylar bag with a heavy-weight acid-free board, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home.   Each one was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time to be graded by CGC!!  I submitted them to CGC for grading and encasement, and they were returned, with 7.0 and 6.5  Grades, and CONSECUTIVE CGC Certification Numbers, in July 2024  (AND  - as of 7/30/24:  #1 is one of just 38 graded copies in the CGC Census; and #2 is one of the just 16 graded copies in the CGC Census.  Considering their WHITE pages and Consecutive CGC Certification numbers, and the fact that they are EXTREMELY attractive copies for their grades, you're not likely to find another equivalent pair anytime soon . . . if EVER!!)  Each copy, both before and after processing by CGC,  has NEVER spent a single day in an attic, basement or storage unit, (and NEVER will as long as I own it!)  Since they were received from CGC, each of these issues has been stored in, and each one will be shipped to its new owner in, its CGC-issued protective polybag.

Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite the fact that each one turns SIX DECADES old in 2027, they STILL look QUITE ATTRACTIVE, especially in their CGC cases with their grades on their CGC Universal Labels showing that BOTH of these copies still have WHITE pages!! 

This pair of issues came back from CGC graded 7.0 (#1) and 6.5 (#2) with rare (for their age) WHITE pages, 

and sporting CONSECUTIVE Certification Numbers . . .

 (4451221010 and 4451221011) - which makes this set pretty UNIQUE!!

Note that the photos used in this listing are not stock images. They are images of the exact copies being offered for sale.  The photos show:  the front covers of the pair of  issues; each front and back cover; the CGC Banner with the Grades and creator and content details for BOTH issues; and the pair of issues back in their CGC-issued polybags and ready to be shipped to their new owner.  The final two images show the CGC Census for each issue as of July 30th, 2024.  Check out other CGC-graded copies available for sale or recently sold on eBay, and compare their pix to the ones in this listing, and you'll see for YOURSELF that this is a particularly GREAT looking set - each copy deserving AT LEAST the grade that it earned (and BOTH of these copies actually look BETTER than their grades - in my humble opinion!!)
