Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Marantz 2238.  This is not for the silver-dial 2238B, that kit is here.

This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 2238 P800 power supply board, P400 phono EQ board, P700 amplifier board, PE01 preamp board, and all four tuner boards, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. The correct replacement output transistors are two MJ21195G (replaces 2SB541) and two MJ21196G (replaces 2SD388), available here. Please do not buy any of the Chinese transistors listed on eBay--these are counterfeit and may damage your receiver.

2 new main capacitors (same diameter as the old caps so they will fit the clamps, upgraded voltage ratings)
Instructions

The kit for each board is bagged individually to make things easier.

These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. The main capacitors are Chemi-Con 10000 uf 63v capacitors, and the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors, and the relay is a new Omron relay. 

I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 60W or 100W incandescent bulb. 

Again, please note that this is for the 2238, not the 2238B. It will not work for the Marantz 2238B.
