I purchased this quite a few years ago, and at that time it was in working condition when it was plugged in. So I assume the 40 year old rechargeable batteries are no good. I plugged it in before I post this listing to test it, and the unit will not power up? I tried to open the case to check to see if I could see what could be wrong, but it didn't seem to want to come open easily, so I left it at that. It is being sold as a non working unit that may need repair to start working again? I believe this is from the mid 80's, and was sold as an accessory item for when using the Schwinn Exerciser.
