This is a high quality tap made in USA. It is New Old Stock. It came out of the "Ready" cabinet in the Tool Room of a recently closed US Steel (USS) plant that shut down.

I recently purchased all of the larger diameter tooling from the tool room of a United States Steel (USS) plant that was closing down. Some end mills and reamers, a lot of large diameter taper shank drill bits and large diameter taps, most made in USA.
