These Candlesticks appear to be "Old Sheffield Plate" (early 19th Century hand plating process) and not electroplate. This is evidenced by a copper color showing through where there are places of wear. The plating is still in excellent condition, but there is some copper color showing through on one snuffer, suggesting the old hand plating process. See last picture for close up picture of this.
The Chambersticks are in Very Good Condition with some signs of age and use. There is one dent on the edge of the wick trimmer slot. See last picture for a close up of this dent.
The only marks I found on these chambersticks is "1366A" stamped into the bottom of both bases.
The Chambersticks are 4 1/2" tall by 5" in diameter and weigh about 11 OZ each.
Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to
you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my
knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint. I
cannot know everything about every item I offer, I do inspect each item and
list all known flaws or damage. So please take a good look at the photos and
ask questions if need be. If You buy multiple items from my store, YES, I
do combine shipping.
