Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Art Pottery/Porcelain. Beautiful large Art Deco Nippon Hand Painted double handled porcelain vase. Fabulous style on this. Bulbous base tapering up with double handled that each have cat heads. Raised beaded gold gilding. Hand painted. Marked with Hand Painted with a square Crown and Nippon printed mark on bottom. According to one resource this mark dates 1908-1921.  Not sure about that, but it definitely dates 1920 ish. Art Deco period. Antique. Good condition for age. Upon very close inspection, on the bottom foot, there is a small smile shaped crack, repair, or manufacturing flaw that is shallow and doesn't affect the interior or display ( last 2 pics). Some gold gilding wear.  Upon close inspection you may notice minor manufacturing flaws typical for the period. No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Displays beautifully. Measures about 12" tall.
