The Chemelex Nuheat NUMEM250PS Peel & Stick Membrane Sheet (FG0800_1) is a tile underlayment and uncoupling system specifically engineered to integrate seamlessly with nVent Nuheat electric floor heating cables. It offers outstanding uncoupling and waterproofing properties, helping to prevent tile cracking and substrate movement. When installed in combination with nVent Nuheat heating cables and a thermostat, it creates a reliable, energy-efficient radiant floor heating solution. The system provides soothing heat to tile and stone floors. It is energy-efficient and easy to install. Chemelex Nuheat floor mat is a flooring underlayment that can be installed over the entire subfloor for uncoupling, crack isolation (crack in the floor prevention), and waterproofing purposes.
Unlike the standard Chemelex Nuheat membrane sheet, the Peel & Stick version features a factory-applied pressure-sensitive adhesive backing protected by a release liner, eliminating the need for thin-set mortar beneath the membrane. This innovative design reduces floor buildup, speeds installation, and creates a strong, lasting bond to properly primed substrates. Integrated mortar vents cut into the top of each square-shaped column allow thin-set mortar applied above to flow through and bond directly to the substrate below, ensuring a permanent, secure tile installation with even floor heat distribution.
