The story of the Kingdom of Croone, is the story of the first frog kingdom. A classical kingdom ruled by a king and a queen. Croone's society is made up of frogs, turtles and other aquatic creatures that live together in a compatible way to survive the challenges of nature. The dragon-snake is Croone's greatest enemy. King Lor, a very smart and loving king, devises a defense against the snakes that includes an army of flying frogs. Croone's young prince, Toga, and his best friend Tooley, initiate a strange set of events when they become lost in the Land of the Magic Mushrooms where Toga meets the spirit of his future wife,Princilla, daughter of the wicked Queen Ladeen who rules all the mushroom spirits. Princilla becomes smitten with Toga and sings a Magic song to him and Tooley that allows them to escape the wrath of the Queen. This song also bestows on Toga, the magic of a wish when he recites the song. Toga and Tooley are transported by a glowing vessel to where King Lor has been searching for them. A war with the dragon-snakes creates a backdrop of turmoil and adventure that tests the kingdom's ability to survive.
ABOUT JOHN FELTMAN
John P Feltman (1930-) Born in the Great Depression, John's life took a positive turn when he enlisted in the USAF in 1950(The Korean War). He served for almost 4 years, in which time he discovered, through AF aptitude and IQ tests, that he had a genius for math, science and technical analysis. He rose quickly through the ranks as a Senior jet aircraft technician to Technical Sgt.in less than 3 years. He was also awarded a rare and prestigious medal, The American Spirit Honor Medal when he completed his Basic Training. John decided to leave the AF in 1954 and pursued a career in Engineering. In 1966,John was awarded a Patent for a process for producing ultra high speed rotors for Centrifuges from composite materials. His theories formed the foundation from which the Dr. Zippe Centrifuge was developed to separate U235 Isotopes for uranium enrichment for Nuclear energy. John was also a Ghost writer in the 1980s and was encouraged by a close friend, iconic author ,James Clavell, to write Toga and the Kingdom of Croone. A book that Clavell said was the finest piece of Children's literature that he had ever read. In 1984, the book was almost produced into an animated film by Lorimar Films but Lorimar felt that they lacked the experience in the animation genre and produced the 'Morning After' with Jane Fonda instead. John was told that Icon George Lucas loved his book and wanted Lorimar to produce it but was out-voted. In 1993 when the book was published, James Clavell told John that he would go to Hollywood with John to get the book produced into an animated film, but, sadly, James died in 1994 and John decided to let the whole dream just fade away. These images are from the book. They are printed on high quality, high gloss photographic paper and hand signed by John P. Feltman.
