A mixture of real life and animation, this film stars zany, loveable Scooby-Doo, Hanna Barbera's cartoon Great Dane whose antics produce the laughs as the reluctant hero of this adventure in which the human characters of Mystery Inc., Fred, Shaggy, Velma and the lovely Daphne, are only co-stars. The pictures from the film tell the story on the backs, but as is often the case the "behind the scenes" cards provide an interesting insight into the production. Scooby-Doo is a computer-generated image added after filming, a life-size puppet having been used to block out life scenes.
