A perfect introduction to the world of hi-tech synthetic strings of which D'Addario are a leading maker of such synthetic strings  from the beginning. The special nylon compound called Zyex will spring to mind, an incredible resilient stable nylon compound used throughout the world such as in the making of tyre walls.

These Ascente strings for your Violist are an excellent affordable upgrade and introduction to synthetic cored strings having a softer sound, not too harsh, for an Entry Level Violin or indeed is improving Intermediate violin's sound too. I have fitted some very recently to great effect, highly recommended.

This is a leading make of string often found 'factory fitted' to violins on the production line, certainly a must do if your violin after checking sound posts etc,.. is still too sharp and harsh in the sound especially on the C and G strings.

This is a clever way to 'upgrade' the tones and sound of a comparatively lower cost instrument without going and buying another instrument. A low cost way to improve what you've got until size or ability determines the next instrument. You can enquire with me about that.
