THIS ITEM.  Awesome hand crafted, hand painted FULL SIZED Talavera tiles made by Mexican artisans in Mexico as pictured. These are what they call high relief tiles meaning that they have a raised texture design that you can feel projecting above the standard flat background. Because each one is hand painted individually, each one can actually done just a little bit differently as done by the painter. Just very minor differences, colors can be just a little bit different, placement may be slightly different. Each tile is actually handmade rather than machine made, so sometimes there may be minor flaws, but the overall look is always very beautiful and impressive. The tiles are roughly 4 1/4" square, or close to it, as again all the tiles are handmade. We normally have a few more styles of these awesome tiles representing different characters, scenes or professions in our eBay shop so you might want to have a look at them too. This would also make a lovely present for a friend or a loved one. I am not the world's greatest photographer so I may not have the best pictures out there, but my prices certainly are the greatest so WHY PAY MORE?

MY STORY. I lived in various communes when I was younger. My first businesses were Head Shops in Kenosha, WI & Chicago, IL in Old Town. As a lifelong biker I also rode & lived with members of the Sin City Motorcycle Club of Kenosha. I was a Golden Gloves state champ when I was younger and a bouncer afterwards. I also spent a lot of time bumming around the Carribean, Europe, & Africa in the winter. I guess this kinda explains the eclectic taste that I have in most of my merchandise.
