This part is an all too common MOT failure item, yet is a relatively simple item to change at home with home mechanic skills, saving yourself a much larger garage bill. IMPORTANT- if you change this item you must get the tracking checked and corrected if necessary. You will appreciate the sharper steering anyway, and also be very pleased that your front tyres last a lot longer too- especially on wide sticky compounds!
