The Cross Country Boots are equipped with 360 degree perforated material to give optimum ventilation and heat regulation. This makes sure there is good air circulation and prevents overheating, helping to keep your horse’s legs cool during gallops, cross country and intensive training sessions.
The middle of the three Velcro fasteners gives the boot stability and a perfect fit. We always recommend fastening the middle strap first, then the bottom followed by the top and then the middle again. Using this fastening method, along with the neoprene free, non-slip material on the inside of the boots, will ensure the boots will not slip. The non-slip material also prevents any rubs.
The outer protective shell is abrasion resistant and offers durability under the toughest of conditions. In addition to all the features above, the shell is cut out which allows the boots to flex and to support the horse’s natural movement. When you watch a horse canter, jump or gallop, the tendons in the limb absorbs the impact, the flex within these XC Boots allows the limb to still perform as intended.
