All 1976, first day of issue, double stamped, and cancelled  Apr 13 1976 by the Harlingen, Tx USPO.

The Texas flag stamp on one bill is also a bicentennial stamp; all the bills are also Dallas bills to keep with the Texas theme.

The green stamps are of founding father Thomas Jefferson and the blue stamps are of the Jefferson memorial

The notes are in excellent condition!

The story:

My grandfather was a Postal worker at the Harlingen, Tx post office, as well as a currency and stamp collector; these notes are inherited from his collection. They have never been publicly shown or offered for sale and have likely been in the family's possession since the day of issue. In addition to the bills is the postal envelope that he used to store the bills in his collection; the envelope does say " First day of issue" so I'm assuming that's why he used it.
