You are purchasing this beautiful OLD PORTUGESE FAIENCE HAND PAINTED CERAMIC ART TILE HUNTING SCENE TRIVET IN VERY GOOD PREOWNED CONDITION.  No markings. Unsigned.  Portugese style ceramic Faience art tile in lovely colors. Handpainted. Light glaze. Measures 5" length X 5" height X 0.25" depth. Felt trivet footings on this tile.  Age unknown.  Hunting scene with baroque feel with two hunters and deer / stag in a pictorial foliage forest.  Very good preowned condition.  Held up to the light I see some pitting in the ceramic surface from age.  Colors are vivid  and handpainting well done.  Minor scuffs, scratches, marks from age and use.  I see one tiny chip along bottom edge near one of the trivet footings. Felt trivet footings have been glued on. A fine and lovely piece. Thanks for looking!
