This is a fantastic vintage 1950's leather, banded collar motorcycle jacket. This jacket was purchased in Japan by a service man stationed there in the early 50's and worn extensively from then on until he had to give up riding a few years ago. It has no tags on it but I would guess it to be an extra small. The leather is thick yet subtle, almost soft and has great color from age/fade/wear. The leather has no rips, tares or hole. There is one riveted metal button on the back that is missing (see photos) the cuffs on both sleeves are becoming unstitched (see photos) and the zippers on the sleeve cuffs and side vents have lost there pull tabs, replacement tabs have been added but can be changed out to suit your taste. There are 2 belt loops in the front and one wide belt loop in the back but there was never a belt with the jacket. The lining fabric has some holes and tares and a bit of deterioration from age, one inside sleeve lining has come detached and gets tangled when putting your arm in, needs to be sewn back on at the shoulder. Please see all photos as they serve as part of my description. Measurements: Collar-20", Waist flat - 41", Top of collar to waist hem, center back - 23 1/2", Sleeve top of shoulder to wrist cuff - (outside)24", (inside)18". Under arm sleeve to waist hem - 12". Top of collar to shoulder - 9". If you need any other measurements let me know. I'm 5'2" and 105 lbs and this fits me great, maybe a couple inches taller and 10-20 lbs. heavier would work well too but not much more than that. This is a Great jacket with the look of a long life, well spent on the road, If you want a jacket that makes it look like you've been there and back, This is IT. Thank you for looking.
