4.Steps to use the washer lid lock:
(1)Slide into clip
(2)Push it all the way into the opening
(3)Leave it in that position until you lower the main top and open the lid
(4)Rig the harness
5.You will need a putty knife and screwdriver. Make sure you take the top part out first and put it back in last. This helps line up the lock for you.
6.If you are having trouble, you can unplug the washer for 10 seconds, plug it in and let it turn on.
7.Then you have to pull the locking piece inside the washer under the lid for a few seconds to reset the washer out of the “locked” position.
8.If it’s blinking “locked” you may have to pull it a little more, towards you away from the washing mashing with the lid resting on your hands. (Lid not completely wide open, but down on your hand as you are pulling the locking mechanism inside the under part of the washing machine. If it makes sense. This should reset the washer out of the “locked” position and should fix your problem!)
9.FIXES SYMPTOMS: Won't spin;Will not drain.;It will not start;Pumps will not spin;The timer does not advance;Will not agitate;Will not fill with water;The touchpad is nonresponsive.
