Here is a really very interesting and particularly beautiful biscuit porcelain planter, apparently of some considerable age, in the form of a romantic couple, with finely detailed sculptural figures, embellished with gold highlights.

The attention to detail is astonishing with the figures very well observed.

In great condition for its age, the only minor damage being to one of the fingers (see photo).

There is a red factory mark on the base (see photo) and also a red painted 'y7', together with an impressed mark ('3054')
Most likely German. Possibly Katzhütte.

The planter measures approx. 24 cm across and 20 cm high.
