Montana Moss Agate despite it's name is not an Agate at all but a form of Chalcedony with included Manganese or Iron oxides.
In Montana Moss both oxides are often found with Iron Oxide giving a red colouration and Manganese Oxide black usually in a dendritic form.
Montana Moss Agate is found in the alluvial gravels of the Yellowstone River and it's tributaries in Montana, USA.
The piece you see in the photographs is the one you will receive. The acrylic stand is not included.
These polished pieces are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones. Carry them in your bag or pocket or place them under your pillow.
