Made by Hines of Oxford, fine quality jacquard loom woven tapestry cushion with a beige velvet back featuring the Kelmscott Tree design inspired by May Morris. Dusky pink background colour.

Has a concealed zip fastener. Inner duck feather pad.

Cover and duck feather inner pad are both Made in England. Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers.

This large cushion measures: 46 cm x 46 cm (18" x 18"). 

Cushion weighs approximately 1.4 kg. 

The Kelmscott Tree pattern is inspired by the bed curtains on William Morris's four poster bed at Kelmscott Manor, his country home in the Cotswolds. These bed curtains were designed and embroidered by his daughter May Morris in 1891. May was Head of Embroidery at Morris and Co. and a talented designer and craftsperson in her own right.
