Here for your consideration are two beautiful Chinese antique blue and white ginger jars, dating back to the late Qing dynasty (late 19th to early 20th century). Both jars are approximately 5.5 inches high and 5 inches wide. While they are not a complete pair, as one has a slightly wider shoulder and a darker color, both are decorated with the traditional plum blossom pattern.
Condition: Both jars are in great condition. The lid of one jar was cracked into two halves and reglued. The body of the other jar has a firing defect, as shown in the pictures, mostly visible from the inside and resulting in a small ridge on the side of the body. The lid contains another very minor firing defect. Please see all the pictures for details.
