This is a pair of head that was removed from a LS6 crate motor when new. I was told the motor was never fired. You can tell that they were installed and everything is extremely clean thanks to 50 years of indoor storage. PO started smoothing the outside casting for another build but went another direction before finishing. Valves and springs are as installed in 72. The casting number comes back as 1971 Corvette LS6. These are open chamber rectangle port heads. If these do not sell I will hang onto them for a potential blower build on my L78 in place of the closed chamber 840 heads to drop compression. Date codes are D-26-72 and B-27-72 for April, 26, 1972, and Feb 27, 1972.
All packing/shipping/moving of parts is done on weekends. Ebay is not my full time job and my storage is an hour round trip from my house, so moving parts around on weekdays is not in the cards. If you need something immediately, I'm not your guy. The handling time is built into my delivery estimate on auto parts. All large items are packaged by a shipping company, and go out on Monday or Tuesday depending on how busy they are. I package all smaller items and drop off for Monday pick up.
