Greenland 1952 Bird NAPT Julemanden Santa Claus #2 TB Xmas Cinderella BLOCK VF-NH. Some Gum wrinkles.
Anglo-Danish Sanatorium scheme for British children.

The idea for the Julemanden seals is British and they were issued by the Anglo Danish Society and NAPT, The National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis in England, to raise funds to send British Children by specially chartered plane for several months treatment turberculosis to the Vordingborg Sanatorium in Denmark. The seals were affixed to letters with Christmas wishes addressed to Santa Claus, the North Pole, Greenland. They are Uncommon Mint and Scarce on cover.
Some consider them more like British stamps but they deserve a large place in any Greenland collection.
