This pattern will guide you through making this new, interesting block without ever having to cut a triangle! Choose a print or multi-colored fabric for the medium value. Next find one very light and one very dark fabric to work with the medium fabric. Learn to make this new "quarter-square goose" block -- all from squares!

Fabrics:

Medium Value: 1 yard (includes backing)

Light Value: 1/2 yard

Dark Value: 3/8 yard (includes binding)

Flat batting: 15" x 36"
