A very early artist's paintbox with a rare original trade label inside the lid of
T.J. MORRIS
28 Colemore Row, Birmingham
this dates it to 1823-1868
The label is in particularly good condition for a box of this age. The good outer mahogany box with original but tarnished brass escutcheon and drawer handle.
