Like New Vintage Condition

This purse has never been used.
It was made in 1965 and put away.
From a Smoke-Free Home.
 The only issue I could find was the
name on the one building is smudged 
& a miniscule piece of green paint
 on the bottom band is missing.
The condition of this purse is awesome!

   6 1/4" Tall
   10" Length
6" Deep
 9 1/2" Tall (Including Handle)

Caro Nan purses are sturdy New England basket purses
with hinged lids and painted town scenes.
It was started by Carolyn McDaniel and
Nancy Steele in Jackson Mississippi in 1965.
It was a huge rage of fashion until it ran its course in the early 1980's.  
It started with a penny glued to the lid and the
date of the penny was the date the purse was made.
Also, the bottom of the lid the purses had the signature of Caro Nan.
I am not sure when the purses had stores &
 locations were put on the bottom of the lid.
This purse does not have any store or location
 put on the bottom of the lid.
