Whitall Tatum No. 1 glass insulator in a pale brown smoke color, clean and in excellent condition.

> Molded above bottom edge "Whitall Tatum No. 1" and opposite "Made in U.S.A. 61-46" above a small circle with "A" inside
> Measures 4" tall with diameters of 3 1/2" at the base and 2 7/8" at the upper wire rings
> Weighs l lb. 9 oz.

The "circle A" mark indicates Armstrong Cork Company, which purchased Whitall Tatum in 1938; the mark began appearing in the early 1940s.

Condition notes:
> No cracks or chips inside or out
> Threads are clear and clean
> The "in U.S.A." part of the molding is very faint.
