Extremely good condition 100 year old quilt- all hand sewn and hand quilted. Delightfully soft, and super clean, ready for your home.

Prints are depression era- this is a completely handmade quilt

Cute feedsack prints of flowers, checks, and whimsical shapes. The framing fabric rows are a coral terracotta and the prints are cute feedsack and even some early Hawaiian print (red with palms) and plaids.

Beautifully hand quilted. The piecing was all sewn by hand, with quite the stealthy stitch work.

Reverse side is homespun ivory beige with dark contrast stitching. Arches pattern.

100% cotton, natural cotton batting.

Gee’s Bend / Sadie Brown

Condition notes- some wear along part of the binding edge, also slightly thin along the pale blue end. A few pale spots I didn’t try to clean it as it is pretty good- soft and clean.

Adorable as a bedcover- and you can flip it to enjoy the dark contrast stitching for a wabi sabi calmer neutral vibe.

Also at outdoor events or picnics this will mark your spot and keep you cozy when the sun goes down.

Your Porch bench or swing is another spot to enjoy this or as a comfy addition on your sofa.

Size is 88 x 69 inches

So it can go on a twin or full, and even on a queen as a cover atop another quilt or blanket for added warmth and a burst of pretty colors. Reverse it for a different look.
