This 12-page program is in excellent condition with very light wear.  All of the pages are secure, and there are no tears.  The cover photo features Buckshot Morris (mechanic) and Frank Mundy.  Pictures were taken of each page to assist with the condition and content of the program.

The 36th race of the 1951 NASCAR Grand National season was held at North Wilkesboro Speedway.  The .625 mile dirt track featured a 200-lap race before a crowd of 7,800 fans.  The pole was won by point leader Herb Thomas, who averaged 68.828 mph.

Herb Thomas led the first 82 laps but had to pit with a radiator leak and would drop out of the race.  Fonty Flock assumed the lead and would go on to win his eighth race of the year, closing Thomas' point lead to 322.2 points.  Finishing second was Lee Petty, followed by Joe Eubanks, Tim Flock, and Cotton Owens.
