Thinning the herd. Vintage Gibson TB serial # 11091 A-33 ball bearing which I am speculating that is early 1920's, but serial #s are impossible for me to date... Pretty much original except there are a few mismatched hooks and nuts, and has been cleaned up with a new skin and ivory saddle. Most of the bearings and washers are in a little bag of stuff in the dilapidated original case (which is totally held together with duct tape). I never understood whose idea the bearings were but I totally rejected them, and tuned in fifths it plays wonderfully. I confess that I am hopelessly in love with my 1918 CB-3, strung with nylon, and what I consider to be the ultimate folk/minstrel/and unique break instrument. This TB has been around the block, not played for the last 23 years, but restored to be quite whole. It will hopefully find a loving home. Buyer will pay $75 shipping to USA or Canada.
