This antique Taiwanese Temple Horses embroidery on silk is probably from the early 20th century (1900-1920). I recently acquired it from a San Francisco, CA estate. 

The embroidery is comprised of multi-color silk threads on a dark navy-blue silk. There are three magnificent Taiwan temple horses that are galloping. 

The embroidery was acquired without a frame. It's approximate dimensions are 12.5 in X 10.5 in or 31.75 cm X 26.67 cm.

The embroidery is unsigned.

Horse # 1 - Gold Galloping Horse

The embroidered gold horse with black embroidery lines is fully engulfed in a gallop. It is wearing a colorful bridle, reigns, tassels, and jewels consisting of vibrant green, red, white, and black colors.

Horse # 2 - White Galloping Horse

The embroidered white horse with black embroidery lines is fully engulfed in a gallop. It is wearing a colorful bridle, reigns, tassels, and jewels consisting of vibrant gold and black colors.

Horse # 3 - Green Galloping Horse

The embroidered green horse with gold embroidered lines is fully engulfed in a gallop. It is wearing a colorful bridle, reigns, tassels, and jewels consisting of vibrant gold, red, white, and black colors.

Framing:

The silk embroidery has been mounted in a new frame that has a clear glass front with a white border and wooden black frame. It has a heavy cardboard back with hooks to hang on the wall, or you can use the stand to place it on a flat surface. 

The frame approximate dimensions are 12.75 in X 10.5 in X 0.5 in or 32.39 cm X 26.67 cm X 1.27 cm.
