Lucasfilm and Del Rey celebrated the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope in 2017 with the release of the hardcover version of Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View, an anthology containing work by 40 different authors. We each wrote about one or more characters either from A New Hope, or we set our stories during the movie.

In my story, "Rites" followed the adventures of the Tusken chieftain from my Kenobi novel (which is usually also available in my eBay store) — just before that character appears on screen in the film. Other stories follow everyone from Captain Antilles to Aunt Beru to Grand Moff Tarkin.
